Located in Monkstown Jubilee Centre, The Crew is where our pre-school children hang out. Under the management of co-owner Maureen, we offer year-round care for your child in a fun educational space.
​We will drop off and collect your child from Monkstown Nursery school; or provide full or half days of childcare. We provide breakfast, morning snack, a two course hot lunch and afternoon snack during full days.
​By being part of The Crew, your child will have ample opportunity to play with their friends and even make new ones, outside the school environment.

Your questions...	Our answer...
“Do you only offer school collections from specific schools?”	We currently offer drop offs to and collections from Monkstown Nursery School. We may expand this to include other local nursery schools in the future.
“What’s the latest my child can stay in your care?”	We close daily at 6pm.
“Do I need to send in food for my child?”	We will provide a healthy breakfast, morning snack, two-course hot lunch and afternoon snack for each of the children. All food provided is included in our simple pricing structure. Please note we are a nut free setting.
“What’s your child-to-staff ratio?”	We operate at a ratio of at least 1 staff member to every 8 children, with a minimum of 2 staff on duty. This means that the children can receive the care and attention they deserve and activities can be organised for small groups and properly supervised.
“Are your staff qualified?” ​	Our staff are experienced childcare practitioners with a range of qualifications including Level 5 Childcare Learning & Development (Management), and Levels 2 and 3 Childcare Learning & Development. Our staff are also trained in various complementary areas such as Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Speech & Language, Behaviour Management, Basic Sign Language and Makaton.
“What kind of activities do you offer?”	We offer a range of activities to include colouring in, board games, messy play, junk art, lego, construction, team games, obstacle courses, sport, outdoor activities and outings.
“What sessions can my child attend?”	We provide a degree of flexibility and children can attend all day, morning or afternoon sessions. We also have a morning club which operates from 8.30-12.30 and includes breakfast, a morning snack and a drop off at Monkstown Nursery School. Get in touch to chat through the options.
“Do you take the children on outings?”	We will provide a variety of periodic outings which could include visits to local parks, Monkstown Woods, Monkstown Community Garden, the beach, the cinema, W5 etc. These are included in the daily price.
“Do you have an app?”	No. We prefer our staff to spend their time interacting with and supervising the children rather than updating an app. We will, however, take photographs of the children periodically to include in our monthly newsletter and (subject to parental consent) post these on our Facebook page. We will also provide a one-to-one handover on collection.
“Do you have flexibility?”	Upon registration, you will be expected to decide which days your child(ren) will attend The Crew and book them in for those days. You will pay for your childcare monthly in advance. Any additional days will be accommodated subject to availability and these will be billed the following month. You can request additional days by text/ What’s App and we will confirm availability and book your child in.
